Team Managers play a vital role in the success of every hockey team. They help coordinate communication, schedules, travel, tournaments, and administrative tasks, allowing coaches to focus on player development and the on-ice experience.
No previous hockey experience is required, and CRMHA provides support and resources to help managers succeed.
All Team Managers must register annually through the CRMHA Volunteer Registration Portal as "Bench Staff"
The following requirements apply to all Team Managers:
All Team Officials must complete the Concussion Awareness Training Tool (CATT).
Required for all team officials.
Certification is valid for five (5) years.
Required for all Team Officials working with players.
Criminal Record Checks are valid for three (3) years.

Team Managers assist with many of the administrative and communication responsibilities of a team, including:
Team communication with players and families
Schedule updates and reminders
Tournament coordination
Travel arrangements
TeamSnap administration
Team budgeting and fundraising support
Coordinating team volunteers
Assisting with game and event logistics
The specific responsibilities may vary depending on the division and team.
